The camp at the beachfront of Nyang Nyang Island with traditional wooden bungalows is run by a warmhearted local family with help of western partners. Be prepared to be treated like a family member and to be taken care of for an unforgettable stay.

Hospitality at its finest paired with a world class surf experience on a heavenly island is what you can expect.

We offer a modest and and affordable Mentawai stay. Please do not expect western luxyry. Our swimming pool is the sea right in front, our luxury is great weather and best surf conditions.

Best Location in Mentawai.

The surf spot E-Bay breaks directly in front of our beach, you can basically paddel our form our beach in front. Surf spots Beng Bengs and Pitstop are just a short walk to each side away. Two more surf spots are on the other side of our island.

For chasing all the other waves in the area we provide a wooden speedboat.

Our Mentawai Family will treat you like you were one of us. So prepare yourself to be warmly integrated. You might even pick up some local language during your stay or communicate with hand and feet here and there. It is going to be original Mentawai style for sure.

We will navigate you to our premium surfspots and make sure you stay safe in the waves. We will try to find the best wave that suits your surf level.

And it seems like many of our guests like the way we treat them since they return to us regularly for another stay. We are very proud of that!

Our wooden bungalows serve as shared rooms but can also be booked as private rooms upon request. Western style toilets and showers are shared. Mosquito nets, fans, towels and sockets are provided.

You guys made our stay here and staying at your camp was an fantastic experience for myself and my friends. Close proximity to surf spots, short walks to Pitstops & Beng bengs, paddle out from the bay to Ebays (...) It has the best vibe and soul of the camps in the area 😉 everyone always has a smile on their face and you feel like your part of the big Mentawai family staying here. I felt at home. They took us surfing everywhere, they taught us all the ways through the jungle, they waited for us all day with freshly made food, they took care of us and our things, they motivated us to go fishing, they went to buy things on another island. They went fishing every day, they helped me repair my board and above all, they always had tremendous energy all the time, a total commitment to this family.

Amazing and lovely family, that makes you feel like you are home, beautiful food and bungalows and really good prices! I will go back for sure next year. You have two boats a day, three meals and a room sharing with other 3 people, lovely place and amazing family. Really glad I made that choice.

Beautiful experience. For those who love surfing in a friendly and family environment this is the right place. The guys are fantastic, even if not all of them speak English we still manage to understand each other and that's fantastic. The food is excellent, and the service on the boat effective. The bed is comfortable and the linen is changed periodically. I recommend! P.s. special thanks to Aldi and Sinan. Bagus!!
